Private Equity Conference - Feb. 16

Industry experts are joining with Haas School faculty and alumni to share their perspectives on the economic outlook and the private equity industry at the third annual West Coast Private Equity Conference on Thursday, February 16, at the Westin St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco.
The conference is organized by the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), San Francisco, and the Haas School of Business.
Haas School Professors Richard Lyons and Andrew Rose will take part in a debate titled, "A Look Ahead at the 2006 Economy: Recession, Inflation, Growth or Bust?" The conference was the vision of alumnus Stephen Etter, BS 83, MBA 89, partner at Greyrock Capital Group and a lecturer in the Haas Finance Group. Haas alumni and ACG board members Mark French, MBA 98, principal at Greyrock Capital Group; and Linda Carleton, MBA 89, CEO and president of FinanceStaff Inc., helped bring the conference about. Approximately 20 current MBA students were instrumental in hosting the conference.

Event organizers reserved a limited number of discounted tickets at $100 each for Berkeley MBA students. Checks should be made out to the Haas Finance Club and deposited in Lauren Nadalin's mailbox in the MBA lounge by February 14 .
