The Google event was a bit of a bust. They were looking for new recruits but didn't really have their act together.

This was an MBA recruiting visit for Berkeley, Columbia and Duke MBAs, first and 2nd year. No tour, no execs, just mid-level managers explaining their tasks. Everyone had the same speech - "Entrepreneurial. Great place to work. You contribute from day one." The one interesting thing to me was the fact that anyone with a good idea can gather resources and go for it. Thus, the reason that Google is into so many different markets.

But... crappy logistics. We had no tour guide. Different people walked us from building to building for 45 minutes across their campus before posting us in front of locked doors where we had to recruit someone to let us in. The meeting already in progress. Luckily it wasn't raining. No lunch. Poorly done.
